FAQs

How is it played?

7v7 is played on a half field with 12'x6' goals. Each game is 45 minutes long and a season is 8 weeks long, with the top teams competing in playoffs on week 9. Normal recreational rules apply except that there is NO OFFSIDES and in co-ed, girl goals are worth 2 points (this is to promote passing to ALL players).

Teams may consist of a maximum of 14 players. Co-ed teams must have at least 2 girls on the field at all times.

Who is this for?

Adults 18+. While LV United does offer more competitive pickup games, this league is recreational and all players are welcome. We do recognize however that many of our players tend to be intermediate or advanced players.

Can I sign up as an individual, or do I need a team?

Either way is fine! You can sign up as an individual or a team. If you don't have a team, we'll help place you on one. If you have a team, but still need more players, we'll add the individual players to your team to help fill your roster.

What's the Cost?

LV United likes to keep things affordable! A full 8-week season is $65/player. This includes referee fees. Each player is responsible for paying their own fees. We know how tough it can be for Team leaders to collect those fees on their own, so we take on that responsibility. However each player must paid in full by week 2 to be eligible to play.
